Official Transcript Application Guidelines & Procedures

1. Application letter addressed to the Registrar, Lagos City Polytechnic, Ikeja with the following:
   • Full names
   • Bank teller or evidence of payment
   • A copy of O’Level certificate
   • SSCE result slip/printout (for students from 2007 till date)
   • Matriculation number
   • A copy of any means of identification (Nigerian Driver’s Licence, International Passport or National Identity Card).
2. Application letter should include: name, date of birth, department, programme of study, year of graduation, matriculation number, current address, phone number, the institution’s address, and the signature of the applicant.
3. Approved transcript processing fee for both official and unofficial transcripts:
   • Local Destination: ₦50,000 (Fifty thousand Naira) only.
   • International Destination: ₦130,000 (One hundred and thirty thousand Naira) only.
   • Kindly note: International destinations such as Germany, Poland, Finland and Malta attract a processing fee of ₦150,000 (One hundred and fifty thousand Naira) only.
4. Payment is to be made to the designated bank account with the details below:
   • Bank Name: Zenith Bank Plc
   • Account Name: Lagos City Polytechnic
   • Account Number: 1010498188
5. Please note that official transcripts are only sent to academic institutions or organisations.
6. Transcripts cannot be sent to non-academic or corporate organisations such as banks, NGOs, MDAs, etc. Rather, the applicant should request an unofficial transcript (student copy).
7. Sending transcripts to any email address is prohibited.
8. Payment of cash or any additional amount outside the above-mentioned approved fee to any official of the Polytechnic is prohibited.
9. Processing time is 30 working days. Within this period, we shall endeavour to process applications for dispatch. The arrival of the prepared transcript at the chosen destination will depend on the location and channel of dispatch.

Applicants Overseas

1. Application letter addressed to the Registrar, Lagos City Polytechnic, Ikeja with the following:
   • Bank teller or evidence of payment
   • A copy of O’Level certificate
   • SSCE result slip/printout (for students from 2007 till date)
   • Matriculation number
   • A copy of any means of identification (Nigerian Driver’s Licence, International Passport or National Identity Card).
2. Application letter should include: name, date of birth, department, programme of study, year of graduation, matriculation number, current address, phone number, the destination address, and the signature of the applicant.
3. All documents are to be scanned and forwarded to the email address: transcripts@lcp.edu.ng.
4. Approved transcript processing fee for both official and unofficial transcripts is $100 or €100, as applicable.
5. Payment is to be made only into the designated bank account with the details below:
   • Bank Name: Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB)
   • Account Name: Lagos City Polytechnic
   • Account Number: 0050258601
6. Please note that official transcripts are only sent to academic institutions of higher learning.
7. Transcripts cannot be sent to non-academic or corporate organisations such as banks, NGOs, MDAs, etc. Rather, the applicant should request an unofficial transcript (student copy).
